WHO WE ARE
Ara Farnam-Levinson :: Owner + Creative Director

Ara Farnam spent six years in the interior design world in New York and London, and she was looking for her next big adventure back in late 2009.
Being an adventurous spirit, she quit her cushy job at the luxury design house de Gournay, and started Rock Paper Scissors Events. The company’s initial focus was on weddings, but year after year our corporate clients have referred us to other corporate clients and most become repeat clients. We have since grown to focus on launch events for premium brands and well designed, highly branded conferences.
Ara’s sense of adventure extends to foreign travel and being a new mom, and she balances all of this with yoga and (attempts at) meditation. She speaks Spanish decently well, in case you do too.
THE TEAM
The RPS team is filled with a roster of design talent with backgrounds in floral design, film and television production, event planning, interior design and large scale event production. They are not only talented, but also genuinely good-hearted, nice people who you will probably want to be friends with.
Kate Aubrey leads our team in NYC with her imaginative design sensibility and sparkling personality, and Ara takes lead on all California events.
